teach me how to pray

New song (glorified piano vocal demo). this was a song I wrote with a good friend of mine, James Tealy. You should check out his stuff. He is an incredible songwriter and one of my favorite lyricists (http://www.jamestealy.com/).

Shannon, I haven’t heard your incredible voice in years, and was so excited to come upon your blog… glad you’re joining the “technological age” even if it is unnatural… I’ve always loved your honesty, its my very favorite thing about you and makes your music even more amazing! This is a nicely written song, nice melodic structure and lyrical transitions, including the ‘wee’ bridge part. As always, your voice is beautiful. It does get lost a little low in parts – might be something to do with breathing? Marvelous. Say hi to James.
